(More customer reviews)Product received as represented and delivery was faster than expected. Not quite an exact replacement for the John Deere 170 starter. Housing on bendix gear is slightly larger (domed more) than original, which posed somewhat of a challenge for installation, but I was eventally successful. Everything else went together as expected and worked well. Only been installed a couple of months, so can't comment on durability, but no reason to expect it isn't going to last, just like any other starter.
